Editorial policy

How the guides, glossary entries and country pages on Invoicelywise are written, checked and kept up to date.

Who writes the content

Guides, glossary entries and country pages are written by the Invoicelywise editorial team, the same small team that builds the tools. We write about invoicing because we build invoicing tools, and we say so rather than presenting the pages as the work of an outside expert.

Where the facts come from

  • Official sources first. Tax rates, registration thresholds and legal requirements come from tax authorities and government sites. Each page lists its sources at the bottom.
  • General references. For plain definitions (what an invoice or a receipt is) we may also cite neutral reference works.
  • No guessing. If we cannot confirm a figure from an official source, we leave it out or tell you to check it.

How we check and update

  • Every page shows when it was last updated. Country pages also show when they were last reviewed.
  • We revise a page when the rule it describes changes, and when readers tell us something is wrong.
  • Arabic pages are written to read naturally in Arabic and are compared against the English page, not machine-translated word for word.

What this content is not

It is general information, not legal, tax or accounting advice. Rules differ by country and by situation. Confirm anything important with the official source or a qualified professional. Templates and tools produce a simple PDF and do not replace a compliant e-invoicing system where one is required.

Advertising and partners

Advertising and affiliate links, if present, are labelled and never change what a guide recommends. See About for how the site is funded.
